About us
YWAM Malaysia started in 1986 in Pulau Pinang. Since then, we have been responding to God by preaching the Gospel, ministering to the poor and disadvantaged communities through development programmes, training Christians of all ages to be disciples through seminars, and training. Since its beginning in Penang, YWAM has since been established in Ipoh, Petaling Jaya, Damansara, Johor, Kota Kinabalu and Sarawak.

MALAYSIA is a country in Southeast Asia. We are the gateway to Asia. Occupying parts of the Malay Peninsula and the island of Borneo. It's known for its beaches, rainforests and mix of Malay, Chinese, Indian and European cultural influences. The capital, Kuala Lumpur, is home to colonial buildings, busy shopping districts such as Bukit Bintang and skyscrapers such as the iconic, 451m-tall Petronas Twin Towers.
